About your role as Founder | Commercial Analyst

The commercial analyst team is at the heart of our business and makes sure our customers receive the best offers. You are the link between our local sales colleagues and international team. Your job highly contributes to our future business.

What are your responsibilities?

As Commercial Analyst, you have an important role to play within:

Strategy – You work hand in hand with the Sales Managers and Project Managers in our different offices to reinforce the strategy of the company. It is your job to consider market research while we create tailor-made loyalty programmes and keep the quality of our sold programmes at a high level.

Client meetings -You join client meetings to explain our data analytics capabilities and agree on the results the retailer wishes to see as an outcome of those analytics. You then translate these wishes to the analytics team, to create a customised program.

Client offers – You co-create and review our offers to the client and work closely with the Sales and Project Managers to arrive at the best possible offer for the retailer and the consumers. You create weekly sales forecasts and delivery schedules.

Sales Results – You analyse daily/weekly figures together with Project Managers. You work out conclusions based on the analysis and recommend action plans on the replenishment of goods as well as overall programme performance.

Reporting – You provide input for client reporting. Next to that, you provide weekly and monthly sales figures and market developments to business directors, and you flag any issues with ongoing programmes/new client developments.

About the perfect candidate

We are looking for a culture fit, for that Founder mindset. As Commercial Analyst, you also match the following criteria:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience within a commercial organisation working with data analytics and data driven insights;
  • Prior experience working with (food)retail and market research is an advantage;
  • You have a minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent;
  • You care, you share, you are entrepreneurial, and you are accountable.
  • You have excellent analytical and numerical skills with good attention to detail;
  • You show ownership, you are stress resistant and are solution-oriented;
  • You have advanced skills in Excel;
  • You have a high level of commercial acumen;
  • You are an excellent communicator with senior management across disciplines;
  • You are native German/Swiss/Austrian, speak and write English fluently;
  • You show a willingness to travel to our clients and different offices.
