About your role as Founder | Logistics Manager GSA

As Logistics Manager, you are responsible for providing an efficient and reliable logistics programme for our clients. You will work on different projects simultaneously and plan, manage, and execute the complete client forecast, delivery and return process. Working with the Project Manager and Commercial Analyst, you ensure the loyalty programme supply chain for our clients runs smoothly and efficiently. You will:

  • Manage and execute all programme deliveries and returns from start to end.
  • Manage and execute all administrative transport and stock movements within approved production and delivery schedules to and from our clients.
  • Ensure optimal stock availability for the different client programmes.
  • Provide solutions for urgent supply and demand problems by coordinating with all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to improve processes.
  • Initiate, draft and execute suggested improvements.
  • Monitor operations and performance of Logistics Services Providers based on agreed SLAs and KPIs.
  • Take ownership of the different logistics programmes including the monthly rolling forecast.
  • Draft and communicate programme forecasts taking expected sales, (future) marketing initiatives, sales patterns, etc. into account.
  • Report to the Head of Project Management.

About the successful candidate:

Our ideal candidate is a results-oriented, customer-focused team player with an eye for detail. You have excellent influencing skills and are driven by team performance.

  • You have at least 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Shipping, Operations & Business Administration in Food or FMCG industry/Retail equivalent.
  • Experience in imports of consumer goods from Asia is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics or related.
  • You share, you care, you are entrepreneurial and accountable.
  • Fluent in the English language, verbally and written, other languages are a plus.
  • You are a problem-solver, critical thinker and have decision-making skills.
  • You plan and manage multiple processes and ad hoc projects simultaneously.
  • You work efficiently and effectively under pressure.
  • You want to move things forward, contribute your own ideas and implement them, both by yourself and in project teams.
  • You are flexible and are willing to travel (up to 20%).
  • You have a good working knowledge of ERP and purchasing processes & applications i.e. SAP.
  • You have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
