About your role as Founder | VAS (Value Added Service) Manager:
We are looking for a culture fit, for that founder mindset. As VAS Manager, you have quite a few roles to play:
A VAS Manager champion: You are the master of all VAS operations, forecasting and planning, as well as, if necessary, escalation. VAS stock control and resource allocation management. Ensuring deadlines are met. Trouble-shooter and supporter of supply chain solutions.
An eagle: You uncover, develop, price, manage, organise, review and support value added services operations and opportunities.
A goal getter: Only the best is good enough for you, you are efficient and productive.
A people person: You excel in communication and relationships. From brand managers to suppliers. From your own Supply Chain and Logistics team in Den Bosch, to your international counterparts in our global offices.
A match maker: To meet the changing levels of our clients’ demands, you analyse performance and identify points of improvement.
An initiator: You take ownership of projects to make sure great ideas are implemented and match requirements.
A smooth operator: You own the packaging and supplier flexibility database to ensure the project and returned goods process run smoothly. You are the VAS expert we can rely on.
A sharp eye: You evaluate and optimise KPIs in order to constantly improve via effective planning. You ensure overall quality.
A long term thinker: You stand for our sustainability targets, for minimum impact on the world we live in. Develop and maintain VAS Revenue/Customer Database. Generate and provide standardised reporting to all stakeholders as required. Develop and provide performance reporting to senior management and sales regions.
About the successful candidate:
As VAS Manager champion, you also match the following criteria:
- 5 to 8 years of working experience in Supply Chain and Logistics.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Preferable a few years working experience in the (re/co) packaging industry
- Hands-on experience with ERP software is a plus.
- Critical thinker and fast learner: you see challenges, not problems.
- You care, you share, you are entrepreneurial, and you are accountable.
- Your communication skills include English, both verbal and writing.
- You like our international environment and look forward to doing some travelling.
- You manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with focus and flexibility.
- You can handle detailed procedures under time pressure.
- You are both team player and an individual performer.
- As a founder, you are proud of what you and your fellow Founders achieve.
