About your role as Founder – General Manager, China:
In this newly created position, you will be reporting to the Managing Director of Asia Pacific and have full responsibilities of the P&L for China. Your key objectives include formulating a clear sales strategy and achieving revenue and commercial targets for the region. Being the first person on the ground, your focus will be to develop a sales roadmap, identify key clients, and more importantly, build relationships with the relevant C-level contacts in the market.
As a growing player in a competitive market, you will establish the business to be the most trusted partner in the loyalty industry. Working closely with the global sourcing team in Europe and in Asia, you will develop creative, innovative and consumer-centric loyalty concepts and solutions for your clients. In addition, you will also drive and champion the digital and data strategies as they form an integral part of your business.
In order to reach these ambitious goal, People & Culture needs to be your priority number one, and your ultimate success will hinge on your ability in building a team of exceptional people.
About the successful candidate:
- Degree qualified with 15-20 years of sales experience in the China market
- A proven people leader with success in building cross-functional teams
- Exceptional at selling concepts/solutions
- Experienced in building relationships and selling to the C-suite
- Strong knowledge in the mass retail market landscape especially in China
- International working experience will be a distinct advantage
- Outstanding communications and stakeholder management skills
